What cookies and similar technologies ordertiger.com uses, why, and how you can control them. In short: no advertising or analytics cookies, one preference stored for the pricing pages, and a few third-party services needed to run forms and fonts.

1. About this policy
This Cookies Policy explains how Order Tiger Limited ("Order Tiger", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.ordertiger.com (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Systems Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data across the Order Tiger platform, and our Terms & Conditions.
The Website is the marketing site for the Order Tiger online ordering system. Restaurant ordering websites, mobile apps and the Order Tiger dashboard that we operate for our customers are separate services. They set their own strictly necessary cookies (for example a login session or a basket), and each customer is responsible for their own cookie notice on the sites we host for them.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. It lets the site recognise your browser on later visits or on other pages. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies; cookies set by another organisation, for example an embedded form or a content delivery network, are third-party cookies.
Similar technologies do a comparable job without being a cookie. The main ones are browser local storage (a key-value store in your browser that a page can read and write), session storage (the same, but cleared when the tab closes), and tracking pixels (tiny images that record a page or email was opened). When we say "cookies" in this policy we mean all of these.
Cookies can be session cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
3. How we use cookies
We keep the Website deliberately light. It does not use advertising cookies, and it does not currently run analytics or marketing tags. The cookies and storage in use fall into these categories:
- Strictly necessary. Needed for the Website to work and to keep it secure, for example to deliver pages and assets or to protect a form from spam. These cannot be switched off in our systems, although you can block them in your browser.
- Functional / preferences. Remember a choice you made so we do not ask again, for example the currency you picked on a pricing page.
- Analytics. Not currently used on the Website. If we add analytics in the future we will list the tool here, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent before it runs.
- Marketing. Not used on the Website.
4. Cookies and storage we set
The table lists the first-party cookies and browser storage the Website itself uses.

The Website does not set any first-party HTTP cookies of its own. Pages are served by our hosting provider, Vercel, which does not set cookies for visitors to the published site.
5. Third-party services on the Website
Some parts of the Website are provided by other companies. When your browser loads them, it connects to their servers, which means they receive your IP address and standard browser information, and some may set their own cookies. We only use services that are needed for the page to work.

Links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other websites take you off the Website. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies.
6. How to control cookies
Because the Website only uses strictly necessary and functional cookies, we do not show a consent banner. You are still in control:
- Currency preference. Use the currency switcher on any pricing page to change it. To remove it entirely, clear site data for ordertiger.com in your browser.
- Browser settings. Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies and local storage, for all sites or for specific ones, and lets you clear them when you close the browser. See the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
- Third-party cookies. Most browsers can block third-party cookies on their own, which covers any cookies set by the services listed in section 5.
- Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. The Website has no tracking to switch off, so these browser signals do not change how it behaves.
If you block all cookies and storage the Website still works. The only difference is that a pricing page will pick a currency for you on every visit instead of remembering your choice, and embedded forms may not load.
7. Cookies on the Order Tiger platform
The Order Tiger dashboard (dashboard.ordertiger.com), the ordering websites and apps we run for restaurants, and related services such as kitchen displays and the order manager use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, hold a basket, remember a table or delivery choice, secure forms against cross-site requests and balance traffic between servers. These cookies are essential to provide the service you asked for and expire when the session ends or after a short fixed period.
How personal data on the platform is collected, used and protected is described in the Systems Privacy Policy. Restaurants that use Order Tiger to run their own branded website or app act as the controller of their customers' data and publish their own cookie notice.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever the cookies or services we use change, for example if we introduce analytics, and we will show the date of the latest version at the bottom of the page. Where a change means a new cookie that needs your consent, we will ask for it before that cookie is set.
